"Laundromat" only a day away...
Editing on "Laundromat" is almost complete. Only a day of last minute sound scrubbing and transferring to MiniDV remains. Also, there will be a special screening for Red Frogs' Jason and Jeremy. We hope that Kevin Smith likes the film as much as we do.
Big shout out to all of the people that have voted for their favorite "Laundromat" trailer. Talks are in the works of possibly doing the same for the next RMP flick, "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs".
Speaking of "KC&ES", now that "Laundromat" is coming to an end editing can continue on this film. RMP's Chad will also be working on the seventh film, "Silence". The due date for "Silence" is the end of November. It is sitting at around 8 minutes, which is good because the Hot Shops Film Festival cut off time is 10 minutes. RMP's entry last year, "Aisle To Aisle" with Kevin "Heavy" O'Neill, took 3rd place in the Drama category. Drama will be the category again this year. The goal is to do the same, if not better than last year.
Adam A. Koch has been a HUGE asset to Chad & Eric this year. So much that he was made an honorary member of RMP last month. He served as head editor on "Laundromat" and the question is, if Chad and Eric ask nicely, will he do the same for the final two films? Keep checking back here for the answer.
A few big announcements will be made in the next month. Just to give you a little taste, the school to serve as the backdrop for the "Exit Sign Story" in "KC&ES" will be made. Also, the future direction for RoomMate Productions will be made. For now the guys are plugging away at their three films and also plan to make cameo appearances in Extreme Films latest short film, "Shadow Board" due to premiere this January at the Hot Shop Film Festival.
Break out the warm clothes, it fall. Good day!
