Back to "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs"

  • "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs" officially goes back to the editing bay tonight. It has been awhile since it was worked on. As a reminder, the film is sitting at around 50 minutes. The goal length of the film is 80 to 90 minutes. No specific deadline for the film has been set as of yet, but a premiere is predicted for early January, 2006.
  • The next film to be completed is RMP's "Silence". Chad is working on that one and it should be completed soon. The deadline for that film is November 28th so it can be sent to The Hot Shops Film Festival. There is an early bird discount for submissions that are received by October 29th, so the deadline might be moved up. The Hot Shops Film Festival will take place January 14th - 20th. The awards ceremony will be on January 21st.
  • Now that "Laundromat" is done, it has been sent to Kevin Smith for the MoviesAskew Film Festival. There are a lot of filmmakers that send their work to MoviesAskew so the odds are against RMP, but who knows. The film will still be shown in January at the premiere and submitted to festivals. To be selected for MoviesAskew would be an honor.
  • The guys at RMP might be sending "Halfway Point" to one more festival. But your chance to see "Halfway Point" in the theater may be coming to an end. But you can own your own copy of the award winning film by visiting http://www.roommateproductions.com/pre_order.php.
  • Finally, check out the official site for Extreme Films' "Shadow Board". Chad, Eric, & Adam have a cameo in this short film. Check the pics that are available to see RMP as well as other behind the scenes footage.
