The "Exit Sign Story"
Saturday was the day that RMP filmed the infamous "Exit Sign Story" scene for "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs". It was a scene that had RMP's Eric & Chad stressed for the last month. It turned out to be one of the easiest shots of the whole feature. It was special for a few reasons. First, one half of the inspiration for the film was on set. Brad Houston was on hand to help make sure the guys kept the scene to how the actual event went down back in his high school days. Secondly, the scene featured Eric's niece Robyn. She brought her friends from college, and they brought their friends, to serve as high school students. Finally, this was the official last scene that was directed by RoomMate Productions. After this, RMP will stick to writing scripts. It was a great day and editing the scene will take place next week.
On Saturday night, RMP's Chad, Eric, and Adam A. Koch were invited over to the home of Red Frogs' Jason's house to preview some of the short films that have been submitted to the Omaha Film Festival. Also, in attendance was Red Frogs' Jeremy and Extreme Films' Lou. There were many excellent films seen that night and the selection committee (Jason, Jeremy, Marc, Bob, Lou) have very difficult decisions ahead of them. Good luck guys.
In other news, Chad's quest to update the RMP website continues. An excellent template has been chosen and now the task of reformatting the rest of the pages is ahead of him. By the looks of it, the help of The almighty will need to be called in. (Thanks Adam)
Happy Thanksgiving!
