February 11th is Fast Approaching...
The premiere date, 2/11, is approaching and it is keeping Chad, Eric, and Adam very busy. While Adam works hard on cleaning up the film, Chad and Eric are promoting the hell out of it. This week the free passes and personal invites will be put together and sent out. The free passes will be sent to the cast and crew and the personal invites will go to local filmmakers, friends, family, and anybody else who helped make the three films possible. This week their will be a meeting to help print those out and then they will be sent.
January 23rd has been designated the big day to really flood the public about the premiere. In the meantime, other outlets have been contacted. Chad has been touching base with local filmmakers and online webmasters about promotions. Eric has contacted four Omaha TV stations and five radio stations. Out of the nine media outlets, KETV has put a link to the premiere on their community calendar and of course Pat & JT have been talking about the premiere during their morning radio show on KQKQ. Another place to see information about the premiere is on Westwood Cinema's website where they give all of the details about the festival they are going to be hosting next month.
This is a big weekend for RMP. More tweaks to "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs" is planned. As Adam continues to tweak, Eric hopes to head off to the home of Extreme Films' Lou to record the voice over for the "Exit Sign Story". Chad and Eric also plan on giving "Laundromat" a once over. If there is time, not likely but maybe, the guys might put in an appearance at the Arena this weekend located just off of 90th street near Fort to check out the band Mr. Hand. Mr. Hand supplied music for the ending credits for "Halfway Point", "Brand New Day", and the song for the "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs" trailer, "Come With Me". Be sure to check them out, they are a great band to see live.
Finally, an email from RMP alumni Dan Lund stated that he will not be able to make it back for the premiere. Dan plays Student #2 in "Laundromat" and is an employee at Key Point Telemarketing in the film "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs". Since working with RMP, Dan has moved onto L.A. to further his acting career. We want to say good luck to him and that he will be missed at the premiere.
