Need Plans For Valentine's Day Weekend?

  • Some of you may have figured out that the RMP Film Festival II is being held on what has been designated Valentine's Day weekend. This was done purposely (sort of) - “Silence”, “Laundromat”, and “Kitty Cats & Exit Signs” deal with love in some sort of way. This makes the event a perfect place to take a date. If you aren't sold, the guys at RMP have made the deal even sweeter. There will be a raffle held at the premiere on February 11th at 6:50pm. Westwood Cinema has donated some movie passes and Muldoon's Pub, host of the official RMP Film Festival after party, has donated $20. This would make a perfect date night, or even a night out with the guys or girls. So if you plan on attending the premiere, make sure you get your raffle ticket before you go into the theater because the guys will be drawing a winner before the show starts.
  • Yesterday was a big day for RMP's Eric as he traveled the city of Omaha getting the word out about the premiere. He visited the locations and other places to help promote the film. Also he set up the after party, which again will be held at Muldoon's Pub. Muldoon's Pub is located at in the Westwood Plaza which is behind the theater, between TJ Max and Bakers in the corner. This weekend Eric and RMP's Chad will be heading out again to hit even more businesses with flyers about the film. Also, RMP's Adam Koch will continue to tweak "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs".
  • A couple of sites to keep your eye on are the offical site for the Omaha Film Festival and the Hot Shops Film Festival which will be at the end of March. RMP's feature film "Halfway Point" has been submitted to the Omaha Film Festival and "Silence" has been submitted to the Omaha Film Festival and the Hot Shops Film Festival. This is the last festival submission for "Halfway Point" and the first two festivals for "Silence".
