The First Festival For "Laundromat"

  • RMP's short film, "Laundromat", has been accepted to its first contest. It has been accepted to Kevin Smith's MovieAskew Film Festival. It was selected as a "lifeboat" entry; this means that it is a wild card entry. So now it is up to you, the fans, to vote for your favorite short and hopefully you'll vote for RMP's "Laundromat". To vote go to http://www.moviesaskew.com/Shorts/Page/11 and click on "Laundromat". You must be a member of MoviesAskew first though. The good news is that it is absolutely free to join. Also, since "Laundromat" is a lifeboat entry we are responsible for showing the film on the web. So plans are in the works right now and hopefully we'll have it up and available very soon.
  • The editor is back! This means that RMP's Chad is hard at work to finish up editing on "Silence". The goal is to have it ready to send to the Hot Shops Film Festival by then end of the weekend. This also means that editing on "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs" will continue. Only two more months left, this means the clock is ticking.
  • Finally the scene that has been troubling RMP for the longest time, the "Exit Sign Story", maybe be ready to go. RMP's Eric has two out of the three locations locked down. Another task for Eric is finding extras for these scenes. What we are looking for are men and women to play high school students in a classroom setting. More on this, as it becomes available.

    Welcome to November.
