One Down, One To Go
After hours and hours of work, the gag reel for "Kitty Cats & Exit Signs" is now complete. The final running time is 12 minutes and 30 seconds. Now that this gag reel is in the can, it is time to start on the gag reel for "Laundromat". They will be added to the DVDs that are planned for release during the summer of 2006.
Last night Chad, Eric, and Adam discussed a possible behind the scenes look that will be added to the DVDs. Adam, as well as his wife Christi, were on the set for "KC&ES" and "Laundromat" shooting behind the scenes footage. There is a chance that their footage might be seen on these DVDs. Let's hope that this works out. It might delay the release date, but it would be worth it.
Two more deadlines for film festivals are coming up at the end of March for RoomMate Productions. One will be for "Silence" and the other is set to receive "Laundromat". After that, the next deadline is May. So far the films have been sent east, this time around they will be shipped out west. More updates as deadlines approach.
Finally, next week is the Omaha Film Festival. RMP encourages you to attend. Not only would you see their short film, "Silence", but there are excellent films that were submitted from all over the world. Jeremy Decker and Jason Levering, Red Frogs Productions, are the directors and have planned an excellent weekend of showings, Q&A's, and workshops that will be great for everybody. Hope to see you there.
